time for T6 !! SCS starting mapping sesion !! SCS built Bastos escos trackcar !!!
right, my friend brought a tidy escos about a year ago and since then it has been sent to SCS for a full track ready built !
it started out as a rally car which was then sold with all the good bits robbed off it and with standard engine and running gear!
this is where we began;
the interior needed a freshen up so this was done in diamond white along with the engine bay
then started on the interior, feul tank went in first then all the carbon fibre door cards were made up.
then went about fitting the dash, this was chopped up to save weight and all necessary guages were fitted.
the shell needed to be back on wheels for easy movement!
so a 6 degree read beam was fitted along with the 7inch diff, driveshafts and mag bilsteins! (bilsteins for the front too !)
whilst all this was happening a brand new 6speed r+d dogbox was purchased and a p8 ecu! to go with the p8 a pectel board was brought for the antilag
two sparco pro 2000 seats were purchased and fitted along with a hydraulic handbrake !
now it was time for harvey to work his magic and get the engine built
the engine consisted of;
200 block with 6 longstuds
standard,standard crank
standard rods
cosworth pistons
a ported 4x4 head with
double valve springs and
SCS spec cams
this was then dynoed and made 440 bhp at 26psi and 385 lbft torque!
when removed from the dyno it was built up onto the cross member with the front diff on and the gearbox fitted
now its ready for the car !!!!
to day we fitted rear brakes which were 300 mm 4pot ap racing !
heres some pics
brakes fitted
dropped the rear looks a million times better
one of martins and harveys together !!
well thats it for now will try and get updates and more pics asap
cheers jim
