Engine rebuild and ongoing upgrades to track Saff .
Taking engine out to rebuild due to knocking, engine is now out.
Was quite nerve racking as i'd never done this before on my own.
Removed all hoses, wiring loom, injector rail, radiator and intercooler.
Here some pic's.
All apart now, need to sort out what parts are needed,
(Diva).

Collecting engine on Saturday, so over the next couple of weeks will be hoping to strip it, clean, reassemble ready for installation.

A couple of pic of the 200 block and cylinder head, just need to get it all together with bits a bobs from the old engine.
A bit of polishing/cleaning stuff, with a little help from the missus.
Tyding up the gauges as well
Amber indicators on now as well, along with some ducing in the fog lamp area for brake cooling.

the Diva and myself were busy Sat afternoon. Engine parts collection now looks like this.
Only left to fit water pump (only gasket i didn't have)
, turbo, alternator and water thermostat housing. Then of course get the engine in the car and plumbed in.
Hopefully make Cumbria RS show on the 11th May.

, you know there is a spare head at mine if required.
