Default Breaking the Saph & Building a MK2 XPACK YB

This is my current cossy but possibly breaking it soon in place of a MK2 cossy. Parts will soon be for sale on here.

Heres a few pics but plenty more to come.

Heres the MK 2 Xpack, we bought this off of a guy and it had been sitting in his garden for over 10 years already with the yb conversion. The engine has done 800 miles from new and runs quieter than any yb ive heard before. MK2 has been 5 linked with turrets but the welding is shocking and rust everywhere, will be cutting it all out and starting again. Hopefully will be putting the turbo ecu and all the good bits off of the saph on this......

More to come when we get the will power to tackle the rust....

Cheers

Dan

I always liked the flat nosed MK2 more than the plastic RS2k front. But X-Pack or Werksspezial like they were called in Germany are rare and fine.

I saw this one on a meeting in Bavaria. It's also got a Cosworth turbo under the hood...

Default Update

Quick update,

Weve been busy over the last 6mths. Decided to paint it White instead of the red.

Bodywork all done and weve started to put it back together...

The saph didnt get broken in the end. Instead it has a new engine built as in my other thread and a new set of wheels and some r888's thanks to Reyland...

Hope you like..

x-pack mk2 looks a great project. The Saff looked too good to break anyway

Stangely enough we are going to see about some wheels similair to the saph....

It currently has some 13's on it and they look silly in the big arches.

Mk2 looks like it'll be nice.... but the Saph looks way to cool to kill!
