Default Project: All Blue Turbo * finall getting somewere *

I did this all in massive detail earlier but came to post it and saidi had to log in and the lot got lost so here it is in less detail

The car looked like this at around November time 04 and it took until august 05 to sort and get roadworthy again for national day 05 were it was on show some of you may have seen it

I originally had planned a set of 16" 5 spoke mondeo alloys but V6 EDC offered back my old red cabriolet to my dad with them on and he bought it i had the wheels off and sold it again and ended up lossing £50 so thast what the wheel cost bargain

I love the way the paint shines in this pic

nothing much really changed except some rare at the time clear rear lights, new number plates, mudflaps and genuine ford spotlights brand new £20 posted off ebay and a set of door pods and went to FITP 06

I then fitted a splitter and a pair of leather and suede recaros from an alfa 33 and went to ford fair

Then the last week n August i got offered a s2 buy a bloke who had bought it down the pub the night before and relised he didnt want it and got offered it for £250 at that price i snapped it up even though i had never seen it and didnt have the cash but i convinced my dad to pay for it and id sell a rolling shel for a profit which i did and i swapped it all over

It then went off to the auto electricians to have the loom done as i and the people who helped me do it arent very clever with wires and i didnt want it going up in flames and it came back running sweet except a boosting problem which turned out to be i had forgot to change the tank to an mfi one which tbh i dont know how i forgot which that done it as running properly and the mods started a stainless exhaust -31 actuator, forge twin core intercooler pipercross filter and a set of samco boost hoses i got for xmas

I then added a 12x3 front number plate and leather and suede recaros in the back and went to central day 07

and that leaves to the current day were i have a slight overboosting probelm which i wil lsort at the eekend fingers crossed and will fit a boost gauge also at the mo the wheels are getting refurbed so is sitting on odd wheels at the moment and will be back on soon

all comments welcome negatives positives improvements etc

cheers Billy

ps not bad for a 15 year old still at school

Nice looking cab Billy, wish i had that kinda view at 15

Not really keen on the lights but it's each to their own i suppose..

90spec style rear lights would have suited it better... As it's quite a dark colour! If you se what i mean....

Spoiler looks different, what it's off?

Very nice mate! Looks a lovely car, my mates big brother had an all blue cabrio, we loved it!

About the only Cab i'd have I think!

Just a shame you can't get to use it properly being only 15! and insurance will cripple you when your 17! Unless you go to the bank of mum and dad!

cheers turbo pez its a nice unique touch i think

smit its not all about saxos and lexus lights i know what you mean about the lights i sometimes think about puttin all the lights back to standard and ambers on the front but i dunno also though about doin the top and bottoms of the rear lights red like an m3 style but dont know about that might need a photoshop the spoilers off a mk5 rs2000

all blues are very nice with the colour andthe other bits its a right bummer not being able to use it got a trcak day on the 13th of june though so its not all bad as for insurance my dad has a traders policy because hes a trader but i dontt hink ican get on til im older so looks like i may need to get a bonus rs rep

Billy, I'll think about it I'm sure you can get proper spacers from somewhere to fit them up, rather than the bolt and washers method I used Better to use 2WD disks if you can find a set I think, but get em on, it's dead easy! Wanna take mine apart soon, make sure all is well with em!

Mike, thing aren't too bad cheers mate, how bout yourself? Know what you mean about FEOC, I'm not really on there much these days, it lost it's feel completely after all the problems. Loads of people have disappeared into the wilderness now, god knows where they've all gone Be nice to see some pictures of the beast mate, even if they're not much different, cos she was looking a beauty

massivewangers- yea i know what ya mean mate, its funny how some the people on there were like on there all evening etc posting away but as soon as it went to pot they must have found new hobbies like tiddlywinks, or stamp collecting to enjoy their evenings with lol.

heres a pic of me car, hope billy dont mind me putting it on his thread. Its been photoshopped a bit, but only to make it sit a little lower. May start up a thread soon then
