the car will go bayside blue mate
yes its up on a crane lol
only way i could get it high enough with out hurting my back again
so far its having the 24v but am sorting of going towards the yb cos lump again but will have to work my funds out if not then ill just stick with the v6 and build my cosy engine over a period of time to stick in a later date

ok update again
finally got underneath stripped and had a poke around for rust
the brake lines decided to fall apart so these will be replaced with nice new ones
heres some pics
coilovers again need replacing i think now
rear beam out
ive oulled my back sightly as i had to carry this out of the garage and down the garden on my own, id recommend 2 people to do this and im not a very big person either heres a pic of the garden and the door i had to get it out of
all out just lines and handbrake cable left
not to bad will be cleaned tomorrow
the rust all i could find that needs sorting was very happy with it
this one i will buy a wing and just use the bit that the bumper locates onto
and the engine bay is 90% prepped aswell
so tomorrow will be to finish cleaning underneath and get it prepped , welding nxt week and if the compressor turns up should have it painted by nxt sunday but ill update

finally an update, been busy getting my convertable ready to sell so not had much time with the sierra but been cracking on over the month or so
rite, my last one had a electric sunroof so first was to modify the roof for the cowling to clip in correctly
primered th eares where i needed to mark out what to cut
then got the drill and made small holes and punched the holes through then bent the tabs down and ended up with the brackets for the cowling
i did a trial fit aand it all fits as it should, ive even still got the good roof lining for a electric sunroof model aswell as mine was a bit tired
nxt was to sort the boot floor out, as the car is going to have a colour change i though id save my self some cash and do the boot as im undecided wether im fitting a system or not so would need it the same colour if i dont
car all masked up
and now all painted
now it was to crack on underneath, ive already finished snading it down and prepping it, so i started to apply the stonechip
then it was time for the colour
then the last bit was the engine bay, as im not that experienced with paint guns it ddnt come out to bad, there is some shit in the paint but i can live with that as most of the engine bay is covered up anyhow but im happy with the result
the colour is a bit bright due to the flash but is a lot darker and lighter dependding on what light you look at it plus the shades of purple it has,
bodyshop has come out to give me a quote im just waiting on them to finish it, the car will have 2 new rear arches, driver side sill, passenger front wing aligned as its been porly done, and a full paint job
ill update again when i do some more
