Very nice!!

Looks familiar, from PF years ago, can't remember who had it?!
It's the E plate and the wheels that made me wonder....

Cheers Mark. Inserts will be ordered at a later date as I'm not happy with the paint on the bumper so will get that redone first .also I tried to fit the spot light brackets last weekend after your advice, but backed out for now cos it seems quite tricky to do ?

Fairly simple to do really. Just annoying as one mistake could result in buying new i/c brackets, spot light brackets, and bottom i/c hose(from i/c to metal insert pipe).

Sadly I no longer have detailed pics of how I fit mine. Only close up pic I still have.

Just noticed your bonnet stay clip on the front panel(near colour tag) is fit back to front.

Cheers for the help Mark , I've not given up as I think the front of mine looks bare ( May get aero catch pins to ) so will retry fitting them at some point.

Oops lol never knew that was wrong way, explains why the bar sits of set when clipped down lol

if you can avoid bonnet pins, Avoid them. I fit them as I couldnt see how the bonnet catch would clear the i/c. I'd have got aerocatch but looked more confusing than fitting the tried and tested Grayston ones.

think I'd fit the pins for peace of mind more than anything . Have read about cutting the end off the bonnet catch leaver too so it doesn't fowl the cooler ?

No worries mate

I've nearly bought a 90 spec spoiler and front bumper a few times , keep talking myself out of it, just don't want to drill holes in the tailgate for the later spoiler and have them on show if I switch it back to 88 spec

Think the 90 spec front bumper looks better without spots... Also, from experience, when some nob end backs into your car in a car park and fucks off, without spots, it's a bit of t cut, with them, it's a bonnet repair/replace too...
With regard to the rear spoiler, get a second tailgate, you get the best of both worlds!!

Stunning much prefer the pre 90 spec cars myself with the Daytona interior, and would be the only one I would have if I got another.

.

Awesome, I've got a G plate that came with 90 spec inside and 80 spec out from the factory, it's just off for paint at the moment but so glad I left the 80 spec bumper and spoiler on it, nice to see a proper 80 spec left as it should be.

Cheers Glenn . I had the shell professionally restored, then everything else on the car has either been cleaned up if possible, or just changed for brand new, changed literally 90% of the whole car in the end lol

that looks superb mate, wheels really suit it. Ive been thinking for a while to offload my Cortina to make room for a series2 turbo, think I better get a move on as prices seem to keep raising.
