I did this to a mate once, he failed to see the funny side.
I'm guessing this isn't for laughs though?

When using cling film/cellophane, always remember to leave a hole and insert a straw to breath, and let your cock breath too. It'll only end in tears. Or death.

i guess its up to the owner to decide how to enjoy his car and if concours and cling film floats his boat...

great car though, great show too for that matter

I was a VERY cocky 20 yr old and doing well in sales, the warehouse boys cling filmed me and dumped me in the sales office, the rest of the sales team laughed and just left me there for ages. Next day the warehouse staff asked me to help them change a light in the top of the warehouse by standing on a pallet, of course they turned off the fork lift and went for a cuppa!

I can see why the cossie guy wrapped it but i do feel the cars stop being cars when they are not driven.

Totally agree, and there is a need for them too in order to preserve the history....I just think I would need this one to look at and another to drive.

If the car is so pristine, why not put it into a car box?

Or has the owner got to go back and clean any potential clingfilm residue off? Or is that pallet wrap?

I'm not knocking the owner, after all, there is a sizeable investment there, and after seeing cars with making tape plastered all over them I'm used to seeing this sort of look....I feel that THIS look is going a bit too far

Good point, I woulnt want anything touching the paint, a good race trailer would protect it from the wrong eyes seeing it too..

I fail to see how cling film would protect it from a flying stone ? if it does then I'm off outside to wrap the front of my car

But what do I know

Although rain and bird shit shouldn't be able to touch it

Shouldn't be allowed to show a car unless it's driven in, it's a car ffs never mind wrapping it in cling film retards, can't ever remember cling film being used to stop stone chips either.
Used to show my 500 in concours, 24k from new, drove it to every show and so annoying when some prick turns up unwraps his cling film taa daa, cunt.
Got so tired of people moaning at shows saying things like can't believe you drive it etc so I stuck some greens in it and took it to the ring for a week )
