Ive never been in any car with someone before where I have just sat there thinking "how the fuck is he able to process what is going on around us quick enough to drive it like that" I really dont think I will EVER be able to drive that car that well, it was just nuts, was like going on a roller coaster and then someone doubles the voltage

Im sure there are going to be faster cars out there that i'll go in at some point, but none that are more ridiculous!

EPIC car, I just cant believe how different it is now to when he first got it!

really whats the bhp per ton of lee's must be going on for BIG numbers?

With me and him in it and on low boost it was probably only 500bhp per tonne or so I guess.

On full boost and with a lighter driver, 700bhp+ per tonne

I dont think another 100bhp is even going to be noticeable when he has more silencing and can turn the boost up, its just already more ridiculous than my brain can process anyway

That's insanely quick!

You live local to me and I had to get out the way of you one night when you were pedalling your 430 hard!

Fair play though, not only have you got the toys but you use and abuse them how they should be!

Its a monster to try and hang on to. You can drive it neat and tidy if you like.... but thats ZZZZZzzzzzzzzz
It looks like a real challenge to keep it in check and looks like a lot of fun to hold on to, I love it and it looks like a great little car!

I guess because it's so light that once it's gone it's relatively easy to catch and hold but you have to be awake and alert and always ready to react, keeps you on your toes and makes it very interesting to drive

I'm sure the exige's would be quicker through the bends but I know which I'd have more fun driving and it'd be this! They might be faster but the westfield will provide bigger grins!

Top work. Looks like a awesome drive. What camera are you using to film? shame you can't get the noise down on the mic as the low speed the engine spooling sounds lovely. Same problem i have with mine with the bike engine, but i top out at 120mph so not as much wind noise for the go pro to deal with.

The video almost looks sped up until Lee goes to change gear then you notice it is normal speed. Only other videos Ive seen like that are some of the shifter kart ones as there just as frantic.

Its filmed on a GoPro HD

I normally use an AIM smartycam on this car as its linked in the dash. But the vids were but poo as it had too much roll bar in.

You get speed and G and throttle and stuff like that with the smartcam. And it runs a external mic so less wind noise.

I just stuck the GoPro on to see the results. I will use a different housing. The Water proof one would work better. That was a Skeleton case. Its to open.

They claim the Jag pulls 175mph down the back straight, that has a slightly nicer shape than the westy though.

Good vid, just shows the outright pace it has, totally in a league of its own, well apart from Stu's I guess

I really hope I can keep mine quiet enough for Bedford, such a nice circuit to drive, I don't think I would come anywhere near that sort of pace round there though, you drive it very well

Do they?

Don't think they do. Where?

and NO chance. Not even CLOSE IMHO!

wouldn't do above 140 in my opinion and I have driven them alot! I reckon you would be lucky to hit a genuine 130 to be honest!

Brilliant video, i love the busy driving so much more than a smooth drive.

Looks like a proper weapon.

Explains if it was the skeleton case, the covered case is a lot better. Would be good to get a few cameras on it and do some proper Top Gear style production on it as its a complete weapon! I use a cable clamp we use at work and some treaded rod which i can attach to the roll bar and drop the camera to any level to get it pukka. Top work and would love to see this round Cadwell if you ever go. Only real track that my kit car can really cope as the top end is rubbish and the driver isn't special either.

Not the single seater thing, the slik cat purple and White thing, I did a session as a passenger with some nutty drifter and we were shifting on down the back straight, murdering everything else would be a understatement.

I'll stand corrected if you have driven that car, I'd be very surprised if that's all we were pulling down that straight

Videos of me driving them on Youtube mate

Driven them loads.

Its quick... because it has downforce. But yep. Sadly thats all you were doing mate! about 130mph.

Feels fast though huh!!!! Great car. VERY physical to drive. Insane corners speeds. My Westfield is on another planet in a straight line though once it gets up on boost. They only have 265bhp mate and not alot of torque. The corner speeds and heavy controls really take it out of you. 10 laps at full chat and you are FOOOOKED!

One of my all time fav cars to drive though. Fabulous things. Its a normally aspirated Jagaur V6 engine on LPG. They are all running paddle shift now. This has made them alot easier and bit less physical. The old sequential lever needed a big tug!

The downforce is of course both the reason they corner so well and yet also the reason that they are relatively slow on the straights.

Kin ell. Well I am surprised ! Was a great experience though, nothing like a well setup car like that as it's so rewarding to drive.

I don't doubt your cars potential, I've been out in stu's on full boost and I can't imagine much touching that in a straight line lol I really should of had some glasses and a scarf or maybe a helmet, it's a bit extreme with no protection

That's the one, he was very fast.

The cars are excellent and the pics do look familiar !

If your doing Bedford in feb I'll probably try and grab a session with you if that's ok, always good to get some pointers from people that know circuits well.

I've set that as a target date to finish mine by, fingers crossed although it will be no more than a shakedown day if I get it done in time.
