Hi everyone.

first post so hello to all.

I've got a Ford smax 2007 1.8 tdci lx. the battery dies on it randomly and on the dash indicator and airbag lights flickers even before I've tried to enter the vehicle. there is no life in the vehicle at all and have to use the key to enter. I can jump start it and it will run again for a while. once jumped the car starts no problem and no sign of the battery struggling. just wondering if anyone has come across this before . I'm no mechanic but it seems to be an electrical drain happening randomly.

You've checked the alternator is charging correctly and had the battery tested?
