Subaru 2.35 Type R
Scoobyclinic billet GT35R
Cosworth manifold designed for drive by wire throttle
True bolt on conversion for a wire throttle with plenty of bonnet clearence
Rad fans fitted
Cossie manifold setup finished
Final adaptor version to accomodate the ICV
Throttle cable mount
Inlet manifold with its final finish=
Dry fit of the manifold, alternator bracket needs sorting to clear the throttle cable
Flocked dash
DC2 Intergra type r seats, steering wheel will be trimmed in black suede with red stitching
Some whiteline goodies
1.5 lite swirl pot with JIC fittings will be boot mounted with pump and filter
Got a couple of bits on the weekend, an air filter with trumpet and a billet timing belt guide
The fuel system has had a re think so it will be as follows, out of the tank to the swirl pot -10 to fuel pump, -10 out of fuel pump to fuel filter, -10 from fuel filter to -10 line through the car, billet y piece to split -10 line to 2 -6 lines to the fuel rails and -10 return line to the swirl pot.
This should allow sufficient flow for well over 700bhp and keep things simple but meant I needed another fuel filter with -10 inlet and outlet. All lines and fittings will be supplied by Alex from Torques via ebay

Small update, prototype rails for the 14mm ID2000 have been made, a cold air feed that fits in the inner wing and a the alternator bracket for the reverse inlet
Final finish on the fuel rails
One off fuel rail for driver's side to allow clearnce for the inlet pipe
In place
Test fit of inlet pipe to check clearance, actual hose will be black
Engine bay getting there
A little something for the under bonnet temps as it will have a vent not a scoop
Some flocked interior bits courtesy of Oh Flock, dash still to fit
mall update but we are now on the home straight :luxhello:
Was not happy with the standard wiring loom, so bought a Gazza loom from Gus sti8 :thumb:
Almost ready to be fired up and a couple of outside shots with Matt R's beast
Had my steering wheel retrimmed as it was looking a bit sorry for itself, retrimmed by http://royalsteeringwheels.com/
Before
After
Some pins for the wiring did not turn up, so did not fire today but on the bright side will be good to go monday or tuesday and straight on the dyno for a base map. Im a pic whore so got a couple of snaps
RCM return to sump catch can (cheers Hardy-P1)
Old wideband lambda wiring
New wiring
Arty shot :lol1:
So close to firing, just an ecu issue holding us back now
All wiring done
4bar map sensor and turbosmart 3 port boost solenoid
Swirl pot setup, still needs finishing off
Flocked dash in
Snap off steering
Gazza messing about with the wiring loom lol
Few misc pics
22B vents fitted
Dyno run video and Gaz with his race face
Roof vent fitted
spool up vid

Had an issue with the rear wheels catching on the arch due to tyre size and wheel offset so had the arches pulled by http://www.bandedsteels.com/
Pics
Had a friend gave the car some, very pleased with the result
Also bit the bullet and bought a hyperflow monster intercooler
Wizards of nos nitrous kit
That is how the car currently stands will be mapped for nos and methanol later this week

Gave the car a shakedown at TOTB ran 1.9bar peak holding 1.7bar on RE070s and managed a 10.80 1/4, the car has so much more to give but defo needs proper tyres.

Had the car mapped again on v power @ 1.9bar at area52's dyno, turns out the VVT is not working causing the slow spool and car being down on torque

Had the car mapped with vvt a couple of weeks back and it has made a huge difference to the way the car drives and responds. It was mapped for 20% meth at 2.1bar hence the slightly higher peak figure

Booked myself in with Si down at SRR for some mapping on nos and race fuel, however did go to plan for one reason another but mainly due to leaving stuff laying around too long. So the plan is to get a fresh nos fill, buy some more race fuel and map the same the week. However did get some comparison runs against Area 52s dyno
Just like to add huge thanks to Si for his perserverance, CJ for his dry, Charlie for his back passage and most importantly the pizza man
Main man, looking cool
Power/Torque
Boost
Also booked in with Chevron motorsport for full geo setup, turns out it all to cock and needs sorting but the platforms on AST's are seized so will be going down again soon. Simon's knowledge is awesome would recommend him to anyone if you want the best out of your car handling wise!
