Default im back...with a zetec-s mk5 ...few probs...advice please folks :-D

hi everyone i havent been on since december when my xr3i was written off by a complete prat pulling out on me...

anyway i have found new love haha, a panther black zetec-s 52 plate with 99k miles... one lady owner and part ford history...although she was desperate for a service when i got her last week!

ive changed the plugs....pollen filter, air filter, oil and oil filter all with genuine ford parts... fully valleted it and put a new ford badge on the front grill where the old one had flaked away!

the car is very very smart now its had a good waxing and bit of tlc over a weekend of sunshine!

i cant beleive how well they handle...and it definately drives nicer than my beloved old efi 90spec xr3i ...

now it does have aircon which only seems to work when it wants too and im pretty sure the heat control valve is boogarrrd! would these two problems be related? the aircon green light doesnt come on ...obviously meaning the air con system isnt happy....but on the rare occasion that it does work....it works very well indeed? hmmmph? any ideas ?

another thing is when accelerating hard up a hill or with a coupel of passengers in the car i can feel a vibration from the front end as if a driveshaft is out of balance... or cv joint? all looks sound underneath though i have brefily checked when doing the oil change... any ideas? its like a surge of vibration u can feel through the steering its not too bad but it feels faintly liek when driving over a cattlegrid?!!!

also any ideas how much a reasonable bodyshop charges to do mk5 feista arches ....theyve gone a tiny bit bubbly...and im thinking this may be a keeper its great fun and looks the busniess for the small amount it cost me

Get on zsoc.com theres some really helpful people on there (as well as the none helpful lol)

On the arches, it cost me Ł450 for 2 new inner and outer arches welded in with a 2 year guarntee.

It looks pretty standard from the outside but its far from standard now.

The pic in my sig is from Ford Fair.

My cars currently running SS4 cams, full milltek exhaust, LSD 'box, Spax suspension, proper bucket seats etc etc etc....

Theres a few interesting projects on ZSOC too. They didn't do a ZS challange but I believe some people use them for some sort of Fiesta championship and put the 1400 lump in.

And thanks
