1990 Escort 1.3 pop daily
My new hack, absolutely love it!
Just driving it at the mo, but on the list of things to do are:
New shocks and springs, loved its stance but driving it daily gets abit tedious!
New sticker ( Proper Escort 1.3 popular one)
Homemade rubber mudflaps (if I can do them well).
Heres some pics, first ones taken by me, the rest are by Rodney
And the sticker,
Updates as work is done.
Cheers, Andy.

Out of many, we are one.
Doesn't look far different to my old one! Not too bad on fuel seeing as its only a 4 speed - it's a popular plus!
Mine however doesn't have the larger steering wheel (in terms of thickness) nor did it have clocks with a rev counter, it's only a four speed and doesn't have variable wipes nor an arm rest in the rear seats - yours is quite a high spec for a popular!

Nice! The clears lights and 3i wheels suit that down to the ground.
Was toying with the idea of clears on mine, but I'm going to keep them amber-what with the steels and everything.
Yeah, the interior has been swapped out for a higher spec, but I want to put the clock dash back in, not much need for a rev counter and I'm always late!

I had a maroon Escort Bonus (you have seen it on RR - was running the mondeo white alloys) which I put clears on although IMO it looked better with Amber's on.
Lol I'd keep it in there and just wire in a clock - ive seen people cut a 52mm hole into the dash (above the glove box) and also to the right of the steering wheel (where the computer would be in the higher models)

What are you going to be changing it to?

So I've been a busy boy today.
I took these off.
And put these on.
A pic of the old springs next to the new ones for comparison.
And a before and after pic of the car.
I much prefer the look before but it's a daily and it drives so much nicer now.
