70's suzuki ts125J 'duster'
iv got one of these tucked away in the garage and have had it for nearly 30 years now.
Just curious if anyone knows much about them, iv found out it was originally made for the US market, and its colour is called 'strip orange' ( cant find paint lol -not surprised though tbh )
its totally original down to the keys, tool-kit under the seat, the tyres etc.
Wondering if theres any value to them and if anyone has any info on them if possible. iKnow its a car forum but its worth a try, and i know theres a few older members on here Iv tried google but its not returned much
Same bike as this except mine has rear lights on top of the rear mudguard.
Thank you in advance for any help on this

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
Really not sure on value, nice thing to have though if it's in good condition.I had a TS125 years ago as a field bike, wish i still had it now, they attract a fair bit of attention at the shows these days.
My old man has a 1980 GS850 that he's had since as long as i can remember, think it's only worth a couple of grand or so.
A GT550 or 750 is a different story though, worth big bucks these days

Forgot about this thread lol
Thanks chaps, i think its a lovely bike, but its just not getting used and probably never will
iv had valuations ranging from Ł1200-Ł2500 so far from a few people.
I dont ride it ajamesc, it hasnt been started since about 1987/88, but its original , all down to the original suzuki took-kit beneath the seat, original tyres , paintwork etc... its a very tidy, clean original bike with paperwork, low mileage and keys. not to mention it is 41 years old Its currently up for sale at what i think is a reasonable price.
Id love to hear it even start lol, as it was sitting in the garage 2 years before i was born, so its just been an ornament really. But i think its time for it to go to someone who can enjoy it and fix it up

i used to own a ts 185 er, field bike. back in the day I swapped it for an air rifle. aprox 1987.
If you fancy a similar deal I have a cracking rifle to swap ya )

unfortunately guns aren't my thing mate haha. plus we could do with the bike selling to pay for a repair in our ceiling !
This probably would have ended up as a field bike if it got sold years ago. but i think its far too good to be ragged around a field, then dumped and torched when police give chase
There is another ts125 on ebay, asking price is Ł799, but its a complete mess!

Wahay!! I've lost my Virginity!!
Only way to tell is to auction it, I'd have thought at least 1500. It's a tricky one as if you wanted a minter like yours you would never find one, but then there won't be too many people looking for one as its not an iconic bike like say a f1se or rd359 etc. Maybe put it into a specific bike collectors auction at one of the classic shows? No idea what the fees would be though. With out similar bikes selling to compare it to its down to what someone will pay for it on the day. Good luck!

Oh and ps if it were mine I'd recommissioning it and get it tested before selling as you will find it adds value if someone can jump straight on it and use it. I'd keep it though but that's just me

ooh forgot abot this lol..
we got 900 for it in the end. my mum wanted it out the way.
A fella was selling one on ebay in mint condition, so i messaged him and asked if he could give me any info about the bikes ( he seemed to know his stuff ) and he ended up buying it and sent a courier to pick it up with the cash, without even viewing it.
i guess he was happy with it.
wish we'd kept it now though haha
