Winter Hack

I am after a cheap bike to use in the winter months, around the 1k mark, what do you guys recommend, I do around 60 miles a day and around 50 of them are motorway, any ideas.

Suzuki Bandit 6 or 12, SV650 (great fun with a cheeky pipe) or do you want to go more sporty?

VFR750 old enough to get cheap but bullet proof

cbr600f ifn you can get one for 1k, comfy and fast enough to not be a pain on the motorway

I have bought one but not everyones cup of tea including mine but with me doing so many motorway miles makes sence, iv bought a BMW k1100LT, big heavy, abs, 50MPG, its only for a few months.
