At classic Ford Santa pod last weekend I found some new old stock Ford badges on one of the stalls there, I wanted 2 of them for my Granada as the originals had gone Yellow, asked the guy how much he said £40 each, I said to my mate "at that price the Yellow ones can stay" lol

There was someone asking £750 for a Capri atlas axle without an lsd at classic ford, I asked as thought it may have been £75. I questioned why so much he said it's been shortened for an escort and has link brackets, it was still there at 5!

I had my 2wd Saff on display and had a look at the spare parts and was amazed at the shit condition of lots of the stuff and how much they wanted for it. It looked like someone had been to a scrap yard to get the stuff!

Hi Glenn, You are probably right as they seem to have no idea of what is a sensible price and will pay crazy money to get the parts. Trouble is it just encourages other people to jump on the bandwagon and put stuff up for piss taking money!!!

Not blaming the seller, can't believe that anyone would pay that much for such a saggy bumper.

Your more than likely find things that go way over are being bidded up by someone that knows the seller, it's funny when you look at completed listings and see how many have been relisted over and over again

I've been following Cossie lattice wheels on eBay for months now and nearly every single set sells and then a week later there back on at a silly low price, get bidded right up and then back on again

I bet that bumper gets relisted.

And from the other end of the scale, i had a set on 185/60/15 tyres that i had for the wifes car which i put on ebay for 80 quid or best offer. The tyres were still like new. Someone offered me 45 quid for them. I said for 50 you can take them away. I must be too nice cause i let them go for 45 quid in the end.
