Exhaust DB killer.
As above, has anyone used these before? I don't really want to mess around with my exhaust. i.e. adding silencers etc but I'm slightly too loud for certain track days.
Seen db killers that insert in the tailpipe. Do they actually work before I chuck money at one.
Cheers.

I have seen a load of problems with them falling off (generic ones) and cars with running probs. I would get a good exhaust fabricator to add in some extra silencers or design a decent system. My one was larger as was needed to go over 400bhp but Mark Shead specced it to be a quiet system and it really is quite civilsed. It has one large rear box and one small one (my car is a Yb powered 4x4 pug 205 so there is not a lot of room for it under there)

Hmm I'm a bit stuck really. Got a trackday coming up and I think I might be over the noise limit. I guess I need to get a db meter and check. Don't fancy using one of these db killers if it's gonna cause running issues.

Which track day venue? Many will let you on if close as long as you don't ping the drive by too. Bedford have to be strict as their drive by meters are linked to the council office and even takes a pic of the offending car.
