Do tell more. I assume it is a bigger casing to house the bigger, stronger gears plus the extra one?

My Cossie defo needs 6 gears, revs high on motorway driving , well annoying and drinks the fuel!

Is it std ratio then, I thought most cosies were over geared for about 180mph theoretical top speed (if they had the power to pull it)

Mines a 4x4 saph standard box. Revs are high at motorway speeds, few guys I know there's are the same and they always complain on the motorway saying they could do with another gear

oem Top gear ratio seems about right for aussie highway speeds for escos on 225/40-18's.

I like the short 1st for crawling when stuck with traffic or getting off the mark for trackday stuff.

I find for some trackday stuff a ratio between the oem 1st & 2nd would be ideal.

Obviously a car for all purposes is a compromise.

An extra slow shifting cog may not make the car quicker, so shift speed would need to improve by 20% to make up for another gear change.

Odd post to not add any info to the thread? Sounds like marketing bs when you get no replies...
