Default Lack of cosworths at nec classic motor show

Went here last weekend,
Was a great show with lots of cars there! was shocked that I only seen one cosworth which seemed to be a modified rs500, Even the rs owners club didn't have a cosworth...

No escorts, No Sapphires and no standard'ish 3 doors...

Anyone else notice?

The 500 was us - our pre production Tickford car (Build 14 / Parts Validation Vehicle). Got shed loads of comments and pics but was amazed to be the only 3dr let alone 500!!

Are you invited to attend then or do you offer your vehicle? Clearly a lot of the displays are via various clubs etc.

Owners Club try and do a different theme each year so it doesn't become stale. This year they celebrated 30 years of the Series 1 Turbo, a few years back they did a Cosworth display.

Also like Del said, you have to commit from Thurs to Sun not everyone can get the time off work

I offered via the RS Owners Club forum. As I said, would gladly have attended last year but couldn't commit to the whole weekend. Couldn't do this year either as the cossie's away having a new engine built
