If the owner is not into forums or clubs it may be a struggle to make contact. Have you checked if it is listed in the database?

I thought he was shot and killed in his Cossie? Magenta or possibly nouvea looking at the pics on google. If this is the car he was killed in it must have taken some cleaning up after the same as the Essex boys range rover!

Still would have made a mess expect!
Hard to believe how these cars that people are murdered in are cleaned up and sold on?
Didn't realise his executioners were never found and the truth is still not known?

yeah thats the guy. i was actually quite surprised to see it was still taxed and Mot'd !

quick reg check comes up as a 'red' sierra cosworth so the plates still with the car too..

it is mad how people like this get murdered yet nobody actually knows what happened, apart from the person/people who did it, and the person who is now 6 feet deep in the ground.

Daztoc - iv checked the database and i either missed it , or it isnt in the database! .. i checked about 5 times just to be sure i hadnt missed it, the pictures are in numberplate order and H35 ELE isnt anywhere to be seen, even looked in the 2wd one. wasnt in that either....

apparantly he was returning to the car with milk and was shot as he was getting/about to get in the car, and the window was either from a bullet... or for some reason, some people believe the window was smashed before the shooting took place. He managed to crawl to a pub where he died outside after accordingly saying 'get me to my feet, they cant see me like this' .

Shame nobody was ever caught.

Wonder where the car resides, like said above owner may not be on forums etc, so might not know of its previous history . would be good to know where all these old cars from posters and tv shows and the 90s have all vanished to and what stories they hold.

yeah i've been searching for this car also, it went back to the finance company after his death. also he was not shot in the car, the window was smashed before he returned so he would stop and look around and that is when he was shot 3 times. the dog food he had just bought is clearly visable in the picture. he died 4 hours later in hospital. it would be great to find its whereabouts. wonder if the owner even knows of its history?? RIP Viv

Indeed he was. I refreshed my memory of the incident after i posted. Window smashed so that he would hesitate getting into the car and shot from behind. Unbelievable that nobody was brought to justice really. I suspect that the killers are well known but also well protected. To be fair Viv Graham had plenty of enemies.

Someone posted about this car before. It's now quite heavily modified, running 500bhp and featured in Fast Ford not so long ago. There was a picture of the magazine about showing the car and plate but can't find it now.

i never knew it went back to the finance company. learn something new every day.

i hope the owner knows about it and has kept the car nice and tidy since, i cant find any more info on the net apart from the posts iv made on retrorides+rsoc , and the news reports of the story etc....

Gonna have another look throught the database just to be 100% sure i havnt missed it lol.

crazy when you think, the only people who KNOW what happened, 1 of them is dead, and the other person is out there with this on his conscience, and knows he did it, and must have the images in his head of that car, Viv, and what happened next and after he pulled the trigger. Then again, for all we know, the real killer could have died or been killed years ago.

XRT- long shot, but i dont suppose you know what mag it might have been ?

Here's the thread from the last time it was discussed. Have a look at post 60. At the time, Googling showed the Fast Ford feature straight away as I remember seeing it. Picture appears to have been taken down.

Just googled it and no pics there any more. Iv most probably got the mag at home, any more clues what wheels etc?
Can almost remember there being a escort Cosworth featured in fast ford in the mid 90's car was virtually brand new and sent to a tuners money no object 500hp, box big brakes etc, the owner didn't want to be named but it hinted that he was a bit naughty in the feature havnt a clue who tho?

Pretty sure it was on silver six-spoke Comps but that hardly helps lol

There have been plenty of dodgy Cossie owners over the years I imagine! It's the kind of car that attracts it.

Cosworths in the early 1990's, if you had one you were not just extremely privileged you were probably a gangster or a stock market trader, absolute status symbol however if you had to leave them anywhere you could be sure that you wouldn't keep it for long. Remember the TV show spender in which Jimmy Nail played a police officer and of course his car was a ford sierra cosworth. Well worth a watch. Also a police station in byker Newcastle took delivery of about half a dozen escort cosworths to try to deal with the car crime in the north east however three of them were pinched the first night from the police compound! absolute crazy times

Looks in amazing condition and with 540 bhp it must suprise a lot of supercars !!! Assuming of course you do use its full potential.

Sounds like you have bought a cracking car and someone else has spent a lot of money on it. Have you had it long? How did you know it was for sale? What has been done to the engine, gearbox etc to get such good power?
