I understand it's been crashed in the past but it has been repaired. Would be nice to find out by who.
If it's been done properly I don't see why it car go back on the road it's not like it's the first car ever to be crashed and repaired.
Realistically I need a way to find out if the chassis is straight if it's not it will be going to the scrap yard once and for all.
Some one has spent a lot of money to get this right again and I don't think thy would have done that for the sake of wasting money and if it was a decent garage with all the correct gear that did it then I want to find out.

If it was still damaged I wouldn't have gone near it but some one has put time and money into it so I hope it's been don't right if not I'll be taking it down the road to get scrapped.
I'm not too fussed if I lose abit of money now that was the gamble better now than fully built and losing Ł1000s

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
What's an RS if it's not seen some action, it's only metal, if it's straight it's fine and build it and enjoy it until it meets the next field/ lamppost who cares?
A true RS is a used RS.

The fact it's been crashed isn't a issue for me.
But if it's f**ked then I need to know before I spend any money not after.
Would like to know who did the repair work, it's been done to a good standard but without knowing who did it it's too much of a gamble just to build it on face value.
If it is no good then it will never be for sale again for someone else to lose money on I'll scrap it so other people don't keep having issues as this car has had a few owners!

I am led to believe it is the same car, I have the number plate that's where I got some info from.
The shell I have has had a roof skin and A post and inner and outer sills so all the damage it would have sustained appeared to have been repaired.
If you was to view it in person it looks fine (although clearly repaired)
The work has been done to a good standard and probably cost a fair bit of money so would hope it all been done correctly.
If this was a 63 plate car with the same damage it would be put back on the road no bother I've seen worse, but it being a only escort people doubt it possible.
That being said I would love to know who repaired it?
Is the chassis all good?
Is it a genuine Gartrac car?
Until I'm happy I won't be spending any money it just to end up losing it all few months down the line.

At the end of the day mate every car has a past. If it jigs straight and looks straight then who cares. When my mate Stuart had it. It was about 400bhp and the thing was a weapon!

PassionFord Post Whore!!
I think the biggest concern would be that the geometry was a mile out before the crash. Would be surprised if that issue was resolved when repairing the damage.

It was suppost to have been repaired by a well know company who are capable of the standard of work required to do such a job.
I have tried to get some information from him all he remembers is he may have arranged to get it straightend out years ago but Carnt remember any details.
All I can do at this stage is get it put on a jig and I'll either have a bit of paper saying it all good or it's bent.
