Default Garrett turbo identification

Im looking to see if anyone knows what turbo this is garrett number 700177-5014.

Does anyone know how this would compare to a cosworth t4 turbo ?

in theory it should spool better and make more power, atp say its rated to 600 hp but it will depend on what turbine housing you use.


ive owned 2 t4 yb cars and they were lag monsters, the bb core and better wheel design of the gt30 should give better response.

It says on the cold side ar 70 not sure what to ask guy what hot side as he says theres no cast numbers on hot side.How do you think this would be on a non vvt sr20 Anglia, its currently got a t34 with 63 exhaust side want to do a bit of drag racing .

the ar number should be stamped in the turbine footplate inlet my gt40 was, is it t3 or t4 ?


identification on outside gt40 1.06 ar housing
