Turbo charging a zetec is not a cheap job if you want it to last more than 5 minutes

If it has been a proper engine build with cams, forged pistons, h beam rods and a flowed head then you would be better to sell the engine.
That way you have more money to spend on a turbo engine, How much power are you looking for ?

if you want to make it faster why not remove all that cheap fibreglass tat thats weighing it down and causing extra drag? thats got to be worth a few bhp on its own.

I wouldn't say its not about it being standard, its just some cars just look like complete abortions when you stick on a kit that doesn't compliment any of the cars features,(like a fiesta trying to pull off a jap look) it'll do nothing for aerodynamics either, thats all marketing bullshit

Happily retired
12/13 year old girls may think it looks nice but that bumper is the worst ever . If its fast already why bother with a Turbo just bullshit a bit more about how fast it is. You change the bumper & its 10mph faster really again the bullshit wont work on here. Come back when you have a better grasp of English & can spell better than a 8 year old.

of course you did, things that are bigger and heavier and have 300% more drag always make for better aerodynamics

*** Sierra RS Custard ***
iTrader: (3)
Fit turbo manifold and turbo and downpipe
Fit intercooler and ascociated pipework
Plumb in oil and water to the turbo (water not always essential)
Alter engine management to work with the new setup (how much change is needed depends on the specific engine in question)
For high boost:
As above, plus low compression internals and more likely to require drastic changes to the engine management.
FAR easier to sell your car and buy one already turbo'd unless you dont mind a project that takes you months to learn what you are doing and you accept the fact you may well blow an engine or two up trying.
