Default Resetting service light-BMW E46

Just done an oil service on my 330ci & want to reset the service light, Im 99% sure it can be done manually from inside the car, Anyone know?

It can be done manually, but only if you have the right tool. You need a reset/fault code reader tool.

Unless you can find someone on here who's in your area and has a "Peak Research" (Or Similar) tool who'll help you out. Most garages are reluctant to do it if they haven't done the service, as a service includes alot more than an oil change, so it can be looked on as tampering with the service history (On newer cars).

I'm sure you'll find someone on here who'll help out.
