The intake test was made on one cylinder - No 4 cylinder,
It shows flow of that cylinder at lift of 13 mm.
THere was no reason to measure other cylinders, as the flaw is obvious, and same in all runners

The chart says the port was tested at 10 and 12 mm valve lift not 13.
You are right though the flaw is obvious.
Do you you know if the manifold was made in house or by someone else?

I'm not sure who made the IM. The design is a copy of a custom Audi IM that is known to work very well. I got permission from the designer to do this. He not only agreed to this, but also said he was perfectly willing to discuss internals, dimensions etc and also of reprofiling of cams which was promised to be done. Unfortunately this offer was not taken up

Search EA or engine advantages, and you will see posts from what people have had to do when they were ripped off by paul hills. Might be worth asking their advice?

I feel sorry for you mate. Thats alot of money to spend to end up with that.
I know the manifold is shite but the bit that really would piss me off is the fact they crashed my car and then took it somewhere to get what sounds like a half ass cheap job done to repair it.
They should have insurance to cover costs in incidents just like this and therefore shouldn't be bodging it with a cheap job. It should go to a first class body shop.

THat really pissed me off too. The repairer had a second go to put everything right but failed miserably. The tuner kept trying to fob me off telling me I should speak to painter direct. i kept telling him I left my car with him and therefore he was my point of contact. Having seen the results and the extra damage caused, I refused to let him near my car again. I don't think that is unreasonable?

Here you can see where flexible filler was not used on custom bumber as should have been so has cracked already. Also no effort to file eyelet for good finish. As said, cheap rushed job with no care taken.

The first pic above was taken in March 2007. I had just picked the car up from my resprayer. The car had just had a bottom half respray and looked rather nice if I have to say so myself.
ANother thing, the side vent (adapted Escort) has cracked all aound where the momentum of the accident pushed the bumper and caused a shock on the opposite wing. They are denying the accident caused the cracking and say it was already there.
The guy who did the respray in March used flexible filler and says only a sharp impact or blow would make it crack

They whisked the car off straight to repair shop so I would not have to wait for the car too long.
As it is, the accident happened in December and I did not get her back until May (industrial estate where bodyshop was had a fire apparently)
I would like to find out as many bad experiences with them as possible for obvious reasons

I know this is pretty much the truth as I have been in touch with the tuners insurance. I could not get much out of them as obviously I am not the insured party, but they did confirm the story.
