It does have climate control so you could be right but thought that would be hidden...

But you cant fit any coins in it?! So how does that work pal?

Coins would also fall out as soon as you went over a bump, plus you can see straight down them its about 3 inches deep.

I didn't fookin design it, but its definitly "meant" to be for coins.

Im pretty sure it is not a coin holder. You can see electrical gubbins of some sort if you look into it, Which makes me think it is to do with the climate control.

Its gotta be the temp sender for the climate control/aircon, my skylines got one and so have atleast half the cars ive ever owned.

Theres a pipe what goes to it on most cars.

my fiesta style has no air con or climate control,you can fit 3 £1 coins in it and thats all!basically they think ford owners have only pocket change i guess!

It's only there as a blanking plate really, as thats normally where T/C button goes, quick design idea from Ford which wasn't thought through for Sterling obviously.
