Not sure when these were made but they definately hit the spot.

Artful Dodger - Ruff' neck sound.
Artful Dodger - Moving to fast.
Sandy B - make the world go round.
Kristine Blond - Love shy
Tina Moore - Never let you go
Donell Jones/Artful Dodger - You know whats up.

Top tunes back then, now its taken over by mouthy youthes who call it 'grime' or whatever. Don't get me wrong, you can't beat a bit of heavy grime. But bouncing beats is what its all about.

Just gets better - Xavier
I refuse - Somore
Bizzy's party - Bizzy
Ripgroove -Double 99
Together - Nice and Ripe
its a london thing - Scott Garcia

So many more

I've still got about a thousand on vinyl....

Best track for me was DJ Zinc - 138 Trek, but I did like plenty of the much earlier 4beat garage and US style funky stuff...

I love garage I'm so glad I grew up in Croydon in the late 90's

Anything Mj Cole or Todd Edwards

Bump n Flex - Long time coming

Afrimerican Coalition - No more weeping (you try and get hold of that! )

Closer than close
Its a tough choice to chose from 2step or 4x4 im sure you'll all agree but grime is terrible.
Garage aint dead its just gone back to underground as it should be.
When you're in a club thats playing a mixture of house/ rnb stuff and they drop in a garage tune the crowd go absolutely crazy!

We go to Milton Keynes a fair bit for the odd event here and there, but really it's London or Essex way mainly. Ego's (Now Zero's again?) in Southend have started weekly UKG nights again.

Uptown Records forums are always busy with the latest UKG info
