Default Are all heater/blower covers the same

The plastic panel that covers the blower motor inside the engine compartment below the skuttle panel - #30 in picture. For some reason in the back of my mind I thought I had heard the one for Air conditioned cars was different - or is this the metal panel this screws on to I am thinking about - #11 in picture.
Thanks David

It is indeed different between aircon and non-aircon. Items number 11 and 30 are for non-aircon cars, on an aircon car item 12, 13 and 14 replace item 11. Item 30 is not there on an aircon car.

What he said. A/C has a plastic cover over the blower motor(and the cooler thingy) too, but that's not in the picture for some reason. Isn't the firewall different too? With holes for the recirculation or something?

The firewall is indeed also different. The cover for the blower motor and vaporizer is just the outside of the aircon unit.

BTW, this is as good a place as any to mention this - if your A/C has juice but doesn't work, it's most likely the de-icing switch. Still available from Ford, as it's the same part used in all Scorpio & Escort units. Replacing's not too bad, with small hands you can do it on your friendly neighborhood Ford service dealers parking lot, by removing the battery and part number 13. This of course applies to LHD cars, for RHD cars www.fordscorpio.co.uk has a useful how-to under A/C modification.

My 4x4 sapph has that as well. But it's a retrofit kit, as factory fitted aircon was not available at the time for the Cosworth, only for the standard Sierra.

Here's something for you Glen http://eucatparts.com/?action=cat_fo...&s_id_model=71

I've been wondering about the dealer-fitted kits, did they modify the firewall too?
Some differences in factory and dealer fits are obvious, like the different arm for the turbo heat shield, but can't very well see the firewall from the outside.
