Number 4 plug getting wet any ideas?
Recently my car started missing. Checked it out and found number 4 plug to be wet with fuel. Cleaned plug swapped for another from cylinder 4, re started and run fine then after a few mins miss fire again, same problem number 4 wet. Done compression check and all ok, good spark too and injectors are only 800 miles old. It's run perfect for 800 miles denso plugs. Any ideas before I pull it apart again?

Swap #4 injector with another?

Would say that single plug is fouled but not if you swapped it with s working one and had the same problem afte a while

I've had the same problem this week with denso plugs,thought the engine shit itself for a start and then started with the basics and turned out to be a duff plug.
They're only a couple of hundred miles old too

Cheers guys going to have a look tomorrow was really impressed so far with denso plugs much better than the fords ones, until now maybe it's the plugs well fingers crossed!

same for me mate on no3 using densos. I found short runs and moving car about caused issues.
Put 071's in it should be fine.
Also swap injectors as said just in case.

check your leads too.

If using cold plugs bring them up to temp before switching off it is not hard to do and adds about 30 seconds to running the car in a cold engine.

Had a play with it today and found 2 of the densos getting wet, changed them for ford plugs and took it for a spin, plugs not getting wet but now have an intermittent miss 1 cylinder dropping out for some reason. Il have another look tomorrow.
