Default 4x4 saph misfire

hi all, second post on this now. my 1992 4x4 saph has a high tension misfire.
if you slowly accelerate through boost it is fine. but if you boot it through boost it backfires and misfires. spec, standard green top engine with scorpion exhaust.
so far it have checked 3 blocks on wiring loom, no corrosion.
tried 2 sets of plugs with various gaps. 071c at 1.05, .9, .65, .6
when i tried the 071c it made the car run rough as a badgers arse.
not sure type of plugs that where already in the car when i bought it(going to try smaller gap) on these plugs
has had new rotor arm and dizzy cap.
waiting on new ht leads.
In the history with the car there has been work carried out for a high tension misfire resulting from interference from ignition. parts of ignition where changed because of this.
any other possibilities will be considered and appreciated
cheers in advance

Mine did this and it turns out to be one if the ht leads was fucked

The spark was jumping through the black rubber to the rocker cover

But it missed at idle as sometimes if the my lead was sitting funny

I Think theres a bad batch of 071's going round, I put some new ones in my race car 3 weeks ago and it ran on 3 changed the dodgy one for another new one then retired on lap 1 missfire, put the old (one season old) 071's back in and finished 3rd!!

get some new plugs
