Default Wiring - Green signal wire

Does this seem right,

Green RPM signal wire on the dash clocks long plug

From these instructions will these be fine to fit to join the yellow wire here rather splice into the ecu plug wiring?

Hi mate im pretty sure you will be fine to do that, this is where i took the feed for my engine monitor from. if my memory serves me it is connected to the ecu loom via the plug behind the dash connector, so you can take it from there no prob
