he was a naughty boy

he got a few days holiday

he then went on some mad rampage on the internet waging war on every who he thought had ever done or said anything he didn't like

this earnt him a longer holiday

needless to say, i don't think he will ever be allowed back here again, regardless of how good his info is

and i do admit, it was good, but tell him that there may be an issue and he sort of went a bit mad, did the same thing on the sierra forum too before he found pf

i "think" the banning issue was something to do with a thermostat which he claimed was just the same as the ones msd were selling, stu then said that if he would buy said stat and see if it worked under the same conditions as the ones msd were selling but he had an inkling that it was one that opened 0.1mm narrower which may have caused an issue as he'd had problems with it before

It was nothing to do with us, a mod banned him, iirc it was for trading or something,
He kicked off and ended up being banned for life.
The end

Find the thread relating to what he said... You will soon see why he got banned.

found it

As for the stat, it could be really good info, I will buy one today, you have to be carefull as most aftermarket ones that look the same fit lovely but teh secondary mechanism's are 1mm too short to seal the bypass port and cause real waterflow issues.. BEWARE.

and this

https://passionford.com/forum/5567792-post135.html

Wow, just got in from 17hrs of non stop work to see I am yet again to blame for something I know nothing about! I dont know what it is with some of you guys! Lets put this one to bed before I do teh same with my tired ass...

The chain of events is as follows:

1) Tabetha called a few people cunts and pricks etc, all of whom reported his actions.

2) A moderator infracted him for one of them.
3) Tabs kicks off with abuse for it.
4) A moderator saw his group buy and asked him to decist as only traders are allowed to run group buys.
5) Tabs kicked off effing and jeffing at him and getting very personal.
6) The mod banned him for a short while to cool down.
7) Tabs logged in and gave the mods more grief, along with MSD for unknown reasons.
8) Tabs then contacted IB directly and made it clear he would be going out of his way to make sure STU and MSD are caused as much trouble as possible.
9) That got him a lifetime ban as when a member threatens to cause trouble on purpose, he is no longer welcome here.

May I also add that he wishes to thank you all for keeping him in a good standard of life as he doenst have to work and is living off benefits and, in his own words, our taxes so has lots of time to cause MSD and the forum trouble.

Nice Chap, your cruscade is well placed guys.

Now forgive me if a ban seems out of order to you lot, but as so many of your rightly say, we have enough trouble makers on here as it is, yet you all groan when one gets banned... go figure!

not that i want to kick a man when he's down and can't reply, but i've also had the same conversation with him when he was asked to leave the sierra forum

i shall let you make up your own minds

He bought a trike for somebody's neighbour when it was stolen,he didn't know them, there was a thread on here about it and he sent money to buy the kid a new trike iirc.
He also gave me advice and offered to fit all the stage 3 parts to my cossie for free but I was too far away,I sent him some parts for free once I. Return for always getting back to me if I had a query.
He did stand his ground even when wrong.top bloke.

Organising a group buy requires you to be a trader?

So if I called XYZ tuning company, told them I wanted buy 20 strut braces at 20% discount, I would need to be a trader? Which would mean signing up for god knows how much money, possibly more than the saving would be for all 20 items?

Sounds odd. Feel free to tell me if I have it wrong.

Its the fact that you are selling them
Regardles of how good your intentions are if you take someones money in exchange for provision of goods or services its trading
Selling your own car or parts or thjngs you already own for your own personal use is also trading, but thats why there is a goldmembership scheame in place and you cant sell stuff for someone else

I cant say i disagree with that either
