Problem I had when sourcing a new battery was finding one with enough cutout round the terminal post to fit the spreader plate in.

Bosch the best battery out them all. I paid just over 100 quid for mine but its the biggest you can fit in the tray when still using the the bottom battery clamp so it goes in the last hole. Big battery with plenty of power and i got the blue one so think its the s4 so its the 4 year warranty.

I'll look out for one next time

Thing is, because it's on a Optimate a lot of the time my last battery lasted 12 years.....

I ended up with this one

Round but i take all my wires of the flat block and do it like that so it looks factory and tidy where as of you just use the adaptors you can get it looks bodged if you leave the ford plate on at least this way it looks nice and tidy and i can always put it back to flat posts if needed. I also put rubber boots over battery posts just to finish it off.

I recently bought a new battery for my 3dr.
Numax with the proper flat posts from a seller on Amazon.
Car is often left in lockup for 1-2 weeks with alarm on always starts no trouble.
