Clutch problem
My car wont go in gear with the engine running, it will go in if not running and then start. I understand that the clutch pedal is on a ratchet system but have tried lifting the pedal up then all the way down but cannot hear any ratchet noise and makes no difference, the car is a 1990 sapph 4x4.
Help please for a mechanical novice

Too many posts.. I need a life!!

Would change the spigot bearing: INA spigot bearing
on every clutch change. But this isn't included in the clutch kit, so it is mostly as old as the car.

PassionFord Post Whore!!
driven7, It looks like you have the correct slave and master cylinder, as yours (is it a Sapphire Cosworth 2wd or 4x4? ) is a left hand drive not sure where the clutch fluid bottle is located.
Clutch fluid bottle
master cylinder
Is your set up different as it is a left hand drive?
