BLACK > ECU PIN 1: GROUND
RED > ECU PIN 20: 12V POSITIVE SUPPLY
GREY > ECU PIN 25: IGNITION SIGNAL FOR RPM READING
GREEN > ECU PIN 17: THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR
BLUE > ECU PIN 29: ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR
YELLOW > ECU PIN 31: AIR CHARGE TEMPERATURE SENSOR
WHITE > ECU PIN 15: MAP SENSOR

Whats the recommeded way to attach these wires as you describe without comrimising the feed to the ECU?

Just splice them in mate, strip back the wires and solder them in cover up the joint with heat shrink or tape (heat shrink looks better)
