Rite, this joint is giving me a rite head ache as i cant seperate it, and if i do i dont fancy re-using it.





So what do you lads do if you need to replace it?

Buy the same part again or upgrade to somthing else?

And how do i remove the other end on the fuel rail?

Adam to remove the fuel rail end of the pipe cut through one side of a 15mm copper olive and push it up the fitting to push the spring apart then pull on the hose I should pull out with a god pull, hope what ive said makes sense.

I had jic fittings welded on mate, im gonna use braied hose

There's a special tool needed to release the fuel rail fitting.

I dont fancy getting things brazzed on m8, just more to go wrong and more work.

Does anyone know if theres much preasure in this pipe?
Could i jubile clip abit of fuel line hose on here?

Its holding me rite up this bloody fuel line, Fords no longer stock this part.

Dash fittings brazed on are fit and forget so not more to go wrong!
But it's only pump pressure so a hose clamp will be fine I've seen a few like it but not ideal really as I don't think there's a flare in the pipe for the hose clip to clamp up before

How did you get on today mate did you manage to get the fuel rail side removed?

In pict above shows you type of tool. The other pipe you either have a tool to push up in slots then push and pipe comes off or pull cover off and push the ring.

Ive not tryed it yet Jeff, ill pop over BnQ tomorrow for a olive and try and remove it. Wish me luck lol

If its holding you up just leave the lines attached and remove the fuel rail from the manifold.
