The 4x4 is inside 15mm and outside 21mm with a "ring" wich goes from 24mm to 21mm, both holes are the same size btw

Thanks Marco - So if i wanted to buy a new water hose then it would need to be 21mm internal diameter then? (Would stretch over the 24mm 'ring') With external diameter of about 28mm?

Hi Mark, here you can see the "ring" i mean

I've measured the outside of my Roose hose and it's 31mm whilst on the header tank pipe, best is to get a new one from Ford or a silicone one

Thanks for the info Marco I've already got Samco water hoses but i'm going all braided hoses under my bay..

One hose is causing a nightmare is the header tank ---> Turbo pipe.. As it's 10mm (internal diameter) turbo end and 15mm the header tank end

As no braided company makes an increasing size along the pipe, so going to make an adaptor to slide into the header tank so it accepts an 10mm pipe!

Then (fingers crossed) i can get a 10mm braided hose and complete my set

Can't you make it out of 2 size hoses and make the 10 to 15mm adapter somewhere in the middle and connect it on to the cambelt cover

That was my plan if the header tank slider didn't work. Gave one of my work friends the job of making the connector. fingers crossed it comes good!

Then I might do what you say about putting the connector in the middle near the cam bbelt cover

I'll post a picture when I'm done (if I sort it )
