Is it 2 or 4x4. Does the pistons need modded or stronger springs 4 the bd14?

You need valve cut outs and double springs to run a BD14 safely

I spoke to M.A.D yesterday on this . Said 4x4 head with bd14 inlet and valve pockets on a t34.63 would make around 380bhp but turbo the limit . Gtx3071 and would do around 420 bhp . Cossie rich had standard head M.A.D cam with gt30 and was 470-480bhp

What about budget and driveability, is that a concern for you?
Big difference in price between 400 and 460 bhp, if it's just a numbers game then go 400 and do it on the cheap.

This is a realy good an valid point.

People get carried away when they start talking tuning their cossie.
If you have no end of budget thats fine.
But, you have to go with a balence of reliabilty and useability within your budget.
Think about what the car is to be used for also.
Dont get caught up in the numbers game, or you may well end up regretting it.
A great fast road spec car in or around 400bhp is more than enuf for most wanting fast road/occasional track day and can be done well without huge outlay.

i would change cams mate.
Their not doing the rest of the spec any favours.
Possibly BD15/16 inlet, and keep the BD10 exhaust
Or speak to your tuner for further advice on a custom cams to make the most of what you have

try bd14 and bd16cams mate. They are perfect for a 400 400 motor with scope for a bit more
