Exclamation Interior lights staying on

I recon its probably a shorting door pin but havnt had time to check, can you get new pins from ford anymore,may be the same as more modern fords.......

not sure if you can get new ones but i would have thought most single pin door pins would be suitable

Check if any on bonnet for alarm as mine is in same circuit so when bonnet opens interior light comes on, not sure why it was done like that

the tall yellow relay in the fuse box sometimes go faulty try swapping it over so far iam onto my 3rd one

What he ^^ said, the relays most likely stuck!

No modern switches are different, and instead of just a plastic pin most are now encased in rubber and are near the door lock itself, rather than near the door hinges, for this reason these have two sets of switches per door (High spec models only).

Both types complete the earth circuit though.

The boot light won't make the interior light illuminate!
