Default Alternator - is this right?

From the image is it right not to have any washer etc on the inside of the side arrowed, just mine looked slightly on the piss and just making sure before i dropped the car back down on the wheels

Am I right in thinking the bush on the opposite side floats as a spacer, so it takes up any tolerance in the width.

Right i'm looking at this again and i'm not sure if this looks right but it's as the diagram with the spacer on one side and nothing on the inside of the other but it's sitting on the piss - the belts look straight but....... what you think???

chris mine didnt have washer (F)im sure mine was fan first then spacer(D) then pulley then a crinkle washer then the nut mine never had a key way also.

ahh sorry mate,just found a pic of my alternator when i took it off and it shows the spacer on the same place.
