Default billit fuel rails with retaining clips

guy's who would be interested in a billit fuel rail with the injector retaining clips on them as some without the clips leaked

i know some will say just get a -6an fitting welded on but i want it as tidy as i can with just 1 fitting on each end of the braided fuel feed line as im a firm believer in the less joints the better

mark at mk motorsport will make them for us if i can get 10 names between here and the rsoc

£130 with billet brackets
£140 with billet brackets , anodised and engraved

a fooking bargain if you ask me

cheers damo

You should get people interested in these I'd think!

I'd have one if I was using injectors that use retaining clips!

i thought it was cheap but there you go i just don't like the look of the standard 2wd rail moded to take the braided fuel hose with the 180deg bend on it

just out of interest who solder's the an fittings onto the rail and how much doe's it cost

I took mine down to Pirtek, cost me 15 quid. They silver soldered onto the original locations. I bought a second hand rail off ebay for £5. Fittings were about £8. Just primered the rail and going to paint it on Monday. Will stick some pictures up when its done. All in, cost me about £35 including the paint.

Damo i looked at this and originally thought the price wasn't enough of an invitation to get a good deal, to be honest i don't rate aftermarket rails as the original items with JIC fittings and a lick of paint or yellow zinc is safe as houses.

Im using a straight fitting on mine. I was planning on running the supply hose to the front of the rail and connecting the two hoses together with one of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/6-AN6-AN06-9-16-Red-Billet-Aluminium-Fuel-Water-Oil-Hose-Separator-/150660112542?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM& hash=item23140ae09e

and then fitting the FPR somewhere on the inner wing. A few rubber lined P-Clamps to hold it near the rail, and it should look quite tidy I think.

it's just with the billet rail the braided hose runs up the bulk head straight into the rail couldn't be any neater

I know what you mean. I might just use a 90deg elbow and route it as per the factory pipe. Ford made the fuel rail the same on all cossies other that the way they mounted the FPR which changed over the years, I just think there must have been a reason why they designed the rail that way, when as you say, its easier to drop it down the bulkhead. Personally, I just didnt want to spend all the extra money. Im tight like that
