2wd will not start
Greetings from Italy
Sorry for my English, but I use the translator, any complaint to let it Google!
My, always, sierra cosworth 2wd 1989, decided not to start more.
I keep my car in the garage, and when I can light it up every month.
The last time I turned it off regularly, but when I tried to start it the following month, the starter motor turns, the noise "zzzzzzz" is heard, the ABS warning light goes off, but will not start.
After several attempts I have seen the indicator pointer of gasoline to go down slowly and is no longer rising.
I checked all fuses, relays lubricated, but I did not get anything.
And 'ever happened to anyone?
Do you have tips?
thanks

The sound is the starter motor, it sounds like it may be attempting to fire but it cannot.
There is a fuse which controls the whole dash, if this were corroded etc you would have no lights etc.
Most likely you have a sender problem, assuming the fuel isn't actually being consumed/leaked etc?
I should think you have fuel, but perhaps the ignition system is damp etc?
