Default saph cosworth part prices

i've tried selling my saph cosworth, but short of giving it away theres been very little interest.

so one option is to break the car, but not sure what parts are really worth, so was after some ideas.

this is the spec of the car below:-

its just about to turn 90k and has MOT till march next year and is sorned at the mo

The shell has never been welded, the rear arches are completely rust free, the only bit of rust is a very small scab on the front drivers side lip.

The engine is very good, its running MSD wasted spark, has uprated fan loom. I've just fitted a brand new radtec alloy radiator. it has a pro alloy 500 intercooler.

Its running a T34.63, not very old and the engine does not smoke. When i bought it i was told it was running aprox 380 BHP and 400 lbft of torque. it goes very well.

It has the cloth interior which is in very good condition, but the door cards do have some shrinkage.

its lowered on Koni shocks and springs

its running siemenns 55lb injectors aswell, has uprated fuel pump, full mongoose exhaust system, uprated breather system.

i've recently fitted a new alternator, gear knob and gear gaitor. It has an RS centre on the steering wheel.

It has a paddle clutch fitted, it also has anti lag and launch control fitted

this is the details off the reciept from motorsport developments for work on the engine:-

polish YB crankshaft bearing surfaces,

supply and fit the following:-

crankshaft main & big end bearings
crankshaft thrust washers
front and rear cranshaft oil seals
front timing cover gasket
aux shaft thrust plate
oil pump and drive
con rod bolts (std)
sump seals
timing belt & tensioner
3 bar map sensor
power steering rack (new)
cam cover half moon seals
turbocharger oil return gasket.

the second job sheet reads as follows:-

remove, overhaul & refit cylinder head with new guides, cam bearings, stem seals and recut seats.
supply and fit cometic multilayer steel gasket
supply and fit new head bolts
supply and fit new exhaust manifold gaskets
supply and fit new cometic inlet & plenum gaskets
supply and fit new coolant sensors for ecu and dash
supply and fit new cam cover gasket
supply and fit new alternator belts and powersteering belts
supply and fit 2 new heater matrix hoses, renew both matrix seals and new header tank
supply and fit new 82 degree stat
supply and fit new steering column bush
supply and fit adjustable front tca's
supply and fit new alcon paddle clutch
replace all crankcase breather hoses
live map engine with siemens 55lb injectors and closed loop lambda control.

other receipts from MSD include a new T34 turbo,
new bosch 044 fuel pump
supply and fit wasted spark conversion

any advice would be helpful

cheers Matthew

If you do decide to give it away I'll gladly take it off yr hands! Will even find it in myself to give you £100 cash for the trouble! lol

Seriously though, it is a hard market to sell for good money at present, and hence why so many seem to be broken all the time. Have you tried Paul @ North York's? I've heard he is fair for pricing.

its a nice car mate, but prob wrong time of year to sell such a car.

I'd think about de-speccing it a bit and sell it cheaper as a whole. then sell off the bits you ahve taken off.
