cos 4x4

am after some help as i need to change the anti roll bar to my xr4i. my question is will the sapphire roll bars fit and if so which is the stronger of the 2 2wd or 4wd or are they both the same diameter.cheers

not sure whether they fit a 4i but the 2wd and 4wd arb's are different, they are not interchangeable 2wd ones are shorter if you need a 4wd one i have a couple lying around

At the rear though the ARBs are the same shape
Sapphire 2wd rear is 16mm
Sapphire 4x4 rear is 18mm
Escos rear is 22mm

I think both arb's are 28mm thick, but the 2wd and 4x4 have a different geometry. So if your car is 2wd put a 2wd on, if it's 4x4 then you will need a 4x4 arb.

No probs, didn't spot that in your OP.

Be wary of too great a disparity front to rear though if you're still on the OE rear 10mm
