trimming a samco hose?

trimming a samco hose?
hi peeps
my samco dumpvalve relocation hose is slightly too long theres a slight kink in the hose when fitted what tool is best to cut a bit of the hose off?

Tape it with masking tape and cut with a brand-new sharp Stanley knife blade for best cut.

Yeh just use a stanley knife. When i fitted my group a cone filter i had to trim a bit of the pipe for it to fit. I didnt like doing it but i had to for the pipe to sit right.

i put the hose clip round it insted of masking take.

I put the pipe on to a metal pipe where it's easier to cut accurately.
