clutch for 4x4 500lb ft torque

someone said AP 6 paddle but a call to ap they say its only good for 400lb ft?

Alcon 6 paddle plate and cover, many people use many parts over their rating without trouble, the std 2wd gearbox was only rated by the makers to 180bhp for example!!
