Sierra Cosworth 2wd problem upgrading from stage 1 yellows to stage 3 dark greens
Hi
I have taken my 2wd sierra cosworth stage 1 to stage 3 by changing the yellow injectors to dark green, adding a 3 bar map sensor and stage 3 chip. I have taken the car out and it was running quite lump at first but got it warm and it was a little better. AS SOON as I tried to hit the boost, it coughs and splutters and no boost. Is this common? does it need setting?? or have i just done something wrong?
Any ideas and info would be appreciated.

A non genuine map sensor, from the land of dubious quality/ebay.
I assume you are trying to kill your engine ?, get a genuine known quality item such as bosch, or the 3 bar weber/mareli, whether this is the fault or not you don't want to be using it.
When you have got the 3 bar genuine article on there fit the bits but take it easy until you have been to a rolling road for a full load fuelling check, money well spent as it could save you a meltdown of the engine.
Before you do this though ensure you have rewired the fuel pump, and fans.

As said about the MAP sensor, but whose chip do you have, I hope this wasen't a Ebay job unless from a reputable seller?
I assume you haven't checked the CO and the fuel pressure and made adjustments if neccessary, (Fuel pressure is usually standard)?
Also as said check the plug gaps.
