removing door glass on a sapphire??

hi folks!!
ive just fitted some more doors to the sapphire 4x4 and im not sure how to remove the glass as i ned to put the tinted ones back in.
i can remove 1 runner, the other looks welded in.
it looks like the only way is to drill the rivots on the electric window motor to remove the glass??
is this right or is there a beter way to do this??
ive searched and cant seem to find the answer.

Remove the rivets - and then you can pull out the windows. Take care on the rear doors - flip the window with the "triangular" rear side down.
