Why not just build one, better than standard...prob cheeper even if you could buy them brand new from ford!

i do reall seeing some advertised somewhere a good while back,they were palatised and ready for getting shipped out.

think a trader bought the last of then iirc.

Just wondering what to do next when i get used to the power i have just now If i keep the saph and dont buy an escos im gonna throw serious cash at it.

Someone has put a 600+ bhp one for sale in there now Kev..your gearbox will last til you change to second..

You cant get them anymore but the last time i priced one up (just out of interest) at work, the list price was something stupid like 11k plus vat!!! (seriously)

The head alone was something daft like 3.5k!!!

Dave, i've told him...

seems cheap for an engine with that power,but you will need everything else to go with it transmission wise.

that norris engine in question wil need race fuel to hit those figs so not the best for a road car IMO...

daves old school spec is the one to go for

Graham Goode used to knock out brand new crate engines both 2wd and 4x4 for around £3800 plus vat

Brodie Britain had a few inc RS500 ones but probably all gone now

Last time I checked Ford still had big turbo escos engines for 10.5k plus vat

but a few years ago they had a clear out and sold 10 new engines for £1500 each I read it in a Ford trade mag I receive, went straight to my dealers on the Monday morning at 7.30 am they rang the disribution centre and all 10 had sold minutes before.
