What are the colour options? I'm still needing to replace my dash but want to make sure I make the best colour choice.

the two options you have really are the two colours ford did them in which was grey for the cloth interior and black for the leather interior but you could get it flocked
the choice as they say is yours

Mine has leather but I'm sure it's not black, more like dark grey...

4x4`s have black dashes 2wd have grey iirc. im sure theres more to it then that. but those are the 2 choices

some of the late 2wd`s had black dash`s as standard, there the same as the grey ones tho, not like the black of the 4x4

i think colour of the dash is deppendeand on weather car had leather or not?

Black for leather and grey with cloth...

i had that problem lately, had to replace my dash as it had warped and i couldnt tell if it was black or really dark grey! i have the leather interior! hope i got the right one, the car is away being rebuilt and i havent had a chance to check it yet! oh well!

my dash is black, and in a 2wd flint grey sapph, with black leather.
im sure if your car has raven leather its dark grey and if you have cloth trim its grey dash??

There were also black cloth seats available...


Nugget of useless information - According to 'The Book' the 'Trim' box on the VIN plate can be decoded as follows:

J - Bluestone
L - Shadow
M - Mace
S - Raven

Reviving a bit this thread.....

Do you know whether the Bluestone option was released on the Cosworth? I believe I did see a picture of a 3 door in blue ages ago but can't find it again....

I'm converting a standard Sapphire to Cosworth spec but have the dark blue dashboard and wouldn't like to replace it as it's mint. Anyone knows?
