Lowering springs for 4x4?
Hi all, i am thinking of lowering my Sapph but not sure how low to go or on which springs? I don't want it too low as i'm worried about drive shaft problems. What is everyone else using?
Thanks
Mark

I had a normal sierra hatch back n i lowered that by about 35mm i was sick of swapping tyres over n replacing tyres cause the rear was 2 low n it used 2 wear the tyres off on the inner edges.I think its the same for a saff 4x4 if u go lower n 35mm on the front dont the drive shafts pop out.

If you already have Koni's i would recommend to get the Ahmed Bayoo spec springs not sure how much they drop by but they are the best springs out there (IMO)
You can get them from mike off here

I bought Ahmeds' springs recently, not had a chance to try them out yet though. They are made to work with Konis and do not lower the car at all unless otherwise specified. I got Ahmed to make me a set -10mm. This is the lowest he will go as it causes spring seating problems if any lower. The car sits really nicely at this.
Also he has the choice of track and road srpings.

Pete.
